Support Kids4Act
Kids4Act is building the foundation for future youth-focused creative arts programming. Support during this stage helps the organization develop responsibly through research, partner-based learning, family awareness, curriculum planning, feedback systems, and pilot preparation.

Where We Are Now: Phase One
Kids4Act is currently in Phase One: Research & Development through our partnership with Deb Lemen Acting Studio.
This partnership gives Kids4Act the opportunity to learn from an active acting-based creative environment serving youth ages 7-17.
Youth are participating in creative learning experiences that may include script reading, character work, on-camera technique, blocking, emotional expression, collaboration, and performance-based exercises in a safe, supportive, judgment-free setting.
Kids4Act is gathering surveys, feedback, and observations from this partnership to better understand what youth are gaining and how future programming should be structured.
This research will help shape Phase Two: Curriculum Development.
Phase One Funding Goal: $25,000
Kids4Act is raising $25,000 to support Phase One: Research & Development for our Acting-Based Expression & Creative Development pilot pathway.
This funding helps us learn from our partnership with Deb Lemen Acting Studio, collect youth surveys and feedback, organize observations, document participant experiences, prepare youth and parent materials, and begin shaping the curriculum framework for our future Acting-Based Expression & Creative Development pilot program.
This goal reflects the real costs of building responsibly – including coordination, survey tools, documentation, curriculum planning, administrative readiness, technology systems, and early pilot preparation.
We are not rushing to launch a program; we are working to build something worth serving youth and families with.
Why We Are Building Carefully
Kids4Act believes youth programming should be built with care, not rushed.
Before launching public programming, we are taking time to learn from experienced partners, gather youth feedback, study what young people respond to, and develop a curriculum informed by real experiences rather than assumptions.
Through our partnership with Deb Lemen Acting Studio, Kids4Act is using the current Research & Development phase to observe, collect feedback, and better understand how young people experience acting-based creative learning. This includes looking at confidence, self-expression, communication, collaboration, emotional awareness, memorization, peer connection, and how safe creative environments can support youth and teen growth.
This careful process helps us prepare a future pilot program that is more thoughtful, more useful, and better aligned with the needs of the young people we hope to serve.

Milestone Updates
Kids4Act intends to share updates as meaningful progress is made. Because the organization is currently in a development phase, updates will be added after real milestones are reached, such as completed survey review, curriculum development progress, partner-based learning updates, pilot preparation, and future program readiness. This allows supporters to follow the work as it grows while ensuring updates reflect actual progress rather than assumptions or premature claims.
